Maintenance & Care (Current Series EBC 08/09/F-II)
Dust accumulation on the external air grilles can restrict cooling air circulation causing the CHD to overheat. This can result in a reduced performance. Depending on the cleanliness of the surrounding air, the cooling air grilles on the front (inlet) and right end (outlet) may have to be cleaned regularly with a small brush and a vacuum cleaner. This is best judged by visual inspection.
Some dust from within the case can eventually be deposited in the water reservoir. The bottle should be cleaned at regular intervals.
It is necessary to monitor the water level in the bottle to ensure a continued supply of water to the humidifier. If the water reservoir requires replenishing use only distilled water (to ½ level).
It is recommended that the unit be returned to us after 15,000 to 20,000 hours of operation (or every 2 years) for general service and inspection. |
