Datalogger, Optional Feature (current Series EBC 08/09/F-II)
The datalogger (including a backup battery) is built in as an optional feature (extra charge) on Constant Humidity Devices EBC 08 and EBC 09. We use purpose made datalogger models supplied by Stefan Krause mikrodesign.
The datalogger monitors the air temperature and relative humidity inside the display case that is connected to the CHD. It receives the values (temperature and relative humidity) as measured from the sensor inside the case, adds date and time to the respective value points and then stores this information.
Storage capacity: 1,024 measurements.
Possible storage intervals: 1 to 255 minutes.
When programmed for continuous measurement, the oldest data is overwritten by the latest.
Required operating system for the software: Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP/XP-SP2. Using Windows emulators on other operation systems is possible in principle, but no guarantees can be given. Click here for particulars on emulators that have been tested by us or the manufacturer.
Your PC/laptop is required for setting-up and reading-out the datalogger. It has to be equipped with a 9-pin RS-232 interface for this purpose (the serial cable is included).
In case your computer is not equipped as such, you might - in principle - interconnect a customary USB-to-Serial adapter, but - and even if this is proven to work in practise - it involves a great number of possible sources for malfunctioning (especially on Windows XP), which is why we cannot guarantee the successful operation of any such connection.
