Details for the optional 2-Litre-Bottle

The 2-Litre-Bottle is an optional extra. It replaces the standard bottle (500 ml).

This option includes: the 2-Litre-Bottle itself, a holder for the bottle, the screws necessary for affixing the holder.

Additionally, necessary modifications by the user are:- assembly of the holder onto the device housing & re-positioning of the water level sensor (all steps are described in the delivered manual).

Required space for a device with a 2-Litre-Bottle: 414 x 205 x (ca.) 480 mm (w x h x d). Another 30 mm is required in the height for the convenient handling of the bottle.
Why ordering a 2-Litre-Bottle?

In most cases the standard bottle will perfectly adequate as the device will soon stabilise the humidity within the case. System demands can normally be handled easily using the 500-ml-bottle. That is to say:- even the small bottle will not have to be emptied or refilled constantly.

There are of course circumstances where it can be expected that the device will have to process an increased amount of humidity over a longer period of time and in one direction only - for instance when the goods presented in the case either only absorb or only emit high quantities of humidity.
 
The option for the large bottle is consequently recommended for such special circumstances only. Still, no matter which bottle is actually used, it's water level has to be checked on a regular basis to ensure a continued humidity control.
