Installation of EBC to Showcase This example shows a typical installation using a Master and Slave set in standard configuration (click photo for larger display). © Copyright 2009 Humidity Control Systems Ltd        Tel: 0044 (1) 522 753722 Yellow represents return air from the showcase. Blue represents conditioned air supplied to the showcase. Some important points to consider:- • The miniClima RH sensor should normally be positioned where it is exposed to the same RH as the exhibit. • Where the RH is to be maintained below a specific level, the sensor should be positioned close to the return air. • If an additional RH monitoring system is used, the RH sensors should be positioned together. • The RH sensor(s) must be installed in a position where RH is unaffected by heat sources eg: lighting. • It is imperative that the display case and all connections to and from the miniClima are air-tight. • To ensure good air circulation, hoses length and bends should be kept to a practicable minimum. • Air connection points should be such that air is distributed evenly across the display case. A Slave set is only required where the total showcase volume exceeds the recommended upper limit of the selected Master set (3m³ for EBC10, 5 m³ for EBC11). Installation pdf
